Has anyone every attempted to hack a Texas Death Match before? I don't see anything online about it, so far.
It is what the "Last Man Standing" match is WWE is based off of. You have to pin your opponent, then the ref counts him down for a 10 count (WWE just removed the pinning aspect from the match). If the wrestler answers the 10 count, the match continues and you have to pin him again for the ref to start the next 10 count.
I've only done very minor gameshark code hacks ... likely things that had already been created, and I just didn't search deep enough online to find the codes. But I've been looking at tutorials here and thinking about diving deeper into match hacks.
From what I can figure it seems simple enough: 1) A pin triggers a ring out count from the ref (rather than a match end) 2) Standing up would trigger a ring in for that wrestler
But I don't know if I've ever seen someone down for an entire 10 count in the game. Seems like a long time to be down, considering the ref counts slowly. Assuming would probably have to also need to speed up the ref's count or slow down the wrestler's recovery.
